First Time Filmmakers - Vietnam is a nation-wide documentary competition that offers five lucky winners the chance to make half hour documentaries for the Discovery Network.  The aim of the competition is to introduce Vietnamese filmmakers to the exciting world of international television production, while providing Discovery with first class films exploring the move from tradition to modernity in this South-East Asian nation.
